This is where you find several white water rafting companies to choose from, to take thrill seekers on an exhilarating ride down the White Salmon River and over Husum Falls (a class 5 rapid!) This river moves fast and there are plenty of fun rapids which means there aren’t long slow sections – perfect for truly adventurous at heart! On your way back to Stevenson, stop by Backwoods Brewing Company in Carson for a delicious slice of pizza and one of their craft brews.
On day three, get started with a hike up Wind Mountain in Home Valley and enjoy the spectacular Gorge view from the top! Then back to Stevenson to enjoy lunch and an award winning craft brew in the outdoor garden patio at Walking Man Brewing. Finally, enjoy one last rush of adrenaline at Skamania Lodge Adventures. Experience a one-of-a-kind thrill as you fly suspended by a cable through the rain forest canopy. The tour includes seven different lines, the longest one being over 900 feet in length, 3 sky bridges, an auto-belay and some light trail walking.
